Floyd Mayweather Drops $18,000 On Fur-Lined Carseat For $350K Rolls-Royce
Floyd Mayweather is going to be whipping around in a very expensive new ride – and he made sure his grandson has everything he needs to join him.
According to TMZ, the boxer dished out $345,000 to buy a Rolls-Royce Cullinan. But he didn’t stop there. He also invested $18,000 to have a car seat lined with authentic mink fur. Floyd teamed up with Obi Okeke (also known as Doctor Bugatti) to craft the custom car seat in the 2022 edition Rolls-Royce.
The car seat event features “Kentrell Jr.” stitched in bright yellow lettering. The father-of-five’s only grandchild belongs to his daughter Iyanna “Yaya” Mayweather and rapper YoungBoy NBA.
Yaya has had a tumult0us relationship with her son’s father. She pleaded guilty to stabbing Lapattra Jacobs, who shares an older child with YoungBoy NBA, earlier this year.
YoungBoy has seven children in total with six different women. Yaya gave birth to her son with YoungBoy in January 2021. It was reported in April 2021 that he was expecting an eight child with Jazlyn Mychelle, though it’s been unconfirmed.
“I want the best for my daughter. I always want the best,” Floyd said after his daughter announced her pregnancy. “If that makes her happy, then we’re happy. Her mother and I are happy.”
He added, “But, what I try not to do is get in her personal business. Because once she’s no longer under my roof, you know what, it’s between her and her better half.”
Despite the drama with his daughter, Floyd appears to be enjoying life as a grandfather. His grandson is regularly featured on his social media page and will likely make appearance in the Rolls-Royce.
Floyd shared a close-up video of himself driving the Rolls-Royce earlier this month. The luxury car features a highlighter yellow interior (which matched the boxer’s sweater in the clip) in addition to Mink trim, just like the pricey car seat.
The Rolls-Royce isn’t the only expensive car the boxing legend has to his name. His car collection is estimated to be worth over a billion dollars. Floyd himself admits to having more than 100 cars. Some of the rarest models in his collection include a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, Rolls-Royce Ghost, a Lamborghini Murcielago, a Bentley Mulsanne, and a Maybach S600.
